LMS hosting for Organizations

The Problem‌

Large organizations needs to improve adaption of their mandatory internal trainings by offering more e-learning options. There are plenty of SaaS and  open source solutions available.,Yet we found some of these challenges

  • ‌Finding the right choice of solutions SaaS/Opensource that fits the organizations

  • The right team/expertise to build and maintain the course contents and open source code updates.

  • Catering multiple group of users with varied contents

  • User based pricing in case of SaaS solutions

Case Study - RPA Training portal
‌Our client is a RPA  Training company. They have various customer in Banking and Insurance domain who had to be trained on RPA tools like Blueprism.

Challenges/Requirements

  • Per User Pricing - RPA corporate training  comprise of mostly 1-time users,so  the cost exceed their budget as the no. of users will increase over time.

  • Needed to have separate login for different partners or vendors.

  • Some  open source tools like moodle which is popular among academic circle can not have multiple partner logins.

  • Considering all these constraints,we have finally found a LMS by instructure, its called

  • Canvas LMS. They have a community edition which can be self-hosted on Linux servers.‌

Solution
‌We have worked with Client's Azure team to come-up with a plan on  network setup and server requirements for Canvas LMS self-hosting.
Our expert team had installed and configured Canvas Application server and DB server.
Also we have deployed a sandbox Test Server to keep source code updating independent of production.
Along with our course content partner, www.mmher.eu we have successfully rolled out RPA training portal.
